Die Choreograph*innen, die an der Kurzresidency „Infinite Creativity in the B∞x“ teilnehmen dürfen, werden von einer internationalen Jury ausgewählt, bestehend aus Valentina Marini und Marco Cantalupo.
Valentina Marini ist seit 1994 in der Tanzbranche tätig und arbeitet als Tanzkuratorin und -beraterin (u.a. in Zusammenarbeit mit Milano danza Expo, Daf Dance Arts Faculty, Teatro Carcano, Teatro Brancaccio, Reate Festival, Circeo National Park, Teatro Biblioteca Quarticciolo).
Sie gründete 2002 die Agentur und Projektplattform European Dance Alliance und arbeitet als Künstlervertreterin von Emanuel Gat Dance. Sie ist Geschäftsführerin von Spellbound Contemporary Ballet, einer italienischen Kompanie für zeitgenössischen Tanz, die sie seit 1996 zusammen mit Mauro Astolfi leitet, und künstlerische Leiterin des Fuori Programma Festivals in Rom. Von 2011 bis 2012 war sie Koordinatorin des Tanzverbandes Unione Regionale AGIS del Lazio. Ab 2010 übernahm sie für den Verband Federdanza AGIS das Amt der Vizepräsidentin von AIDAP, und seit 2019 übernimmt sie dessen nationale Präsidentschaft. Seit 2020 prägt sie als Co-Direktorin das Teatro Biblioteca Quarticciolo in Rom.
Marco Cantalupo wurde in Genua, Italien, geboren. Er studierte an der Ballettschule des Scala Theaters in Mailand und absolvierte anschliessend die Ballettschule der Hamburger Oper. Er tanzte erst an der Hamburger Oper, dann als Solist bei dem Staatstheater Gelsenkirchen, dem National Ballet in Portugal, der Deutschen Oper Berlin, dem Konzerttheater Bern und dem Béjart Ballet Lausanne. In diesen Jahren arbeitet er mit John Neumeier, Gigi Caciuleanu, Daniel Ezralow, Peter Schaufus und Maurice Béjart. Er choreographierte für eine Reihe von unabhängigen Projekten in Italien, bevor er mit Katarzyna Gdaniec die Compagnie „Linga“ in Lausanne (CH) gründete. Er unterrichtet zeitgenössischen Tanz in Lausanne und beim Bachelor Studiengang Contemporary Dance in Zürich. Zudem ist er Mitglied des CFC expert college (Schweizerische Staatsprüfung für Tänzer), und Jurymitglied der Schweizer Tanzpreise. Seit 2004 arbeitet er auch als Bewegungspädagoge für Schauspieler*innen und gründete 2014 in Alexandria (Ägypten) das Theaterkollektiv „Lies“.

The choreographers who will have the opportunity to participate in the “ Infinite Creativity in the B∞x” residencies will be chosen by an international jury composed by Valentina Marini and Marco Cantalupo.
Valentina Marini has been working in the dance industry since 1994 as a dance curator and consultant (in collaboration with Milano danza Expo, Daf Dance Arts Faculty, Teatro Carcano, Teatro Brancaccio, Reate Festival, Circeo National Park, Teatro Biblioteca Quarticciolo, among others). In 2002 she founded the agency and project platform European Dance Alliance and works as an artist representative of Emanuel Gat Dance. She is the managing director of Spellbound Contemporary Ballet, an Italian contemporary dance company that she has directed with Mauro Astolfi since 1996, as well as the artistic director of the Fuori Programma festival in Rome. From 2011 to 2012 she was coordinator of the dance association Unione Regionale AGIS del Lazio. From 2010 she has been the Vice-President of AIDAP for the Federdanza AGIS association, and since 2019 she has assumed its national presidency. Starting from 2020 she plays as co-director in Teatro Biblioteca Quarticciolo in Roma.
Marco Cantalupo was born in Genova, Italy. He studied at the Scala Theatre Ballet School in Milan, and then he graduated at the Hamburg Opera Ballet School. He danced with the Hamburg Opera, then as a soloist with the Staatstheather Gelsenkirchen, the National Ballet of Portugal, the Deutsche Oper Berlin, the Stadttheater Bern and the Béjart Ballet Lausanne. In these years he works with John Neumeier, Gigi Caciuleanu, Daniel Ezralow, Peter Schaufus, Maurice Béjart. He choreographed for a number of independent projects in Italy before founding Compagnie Linga in Lausanne (CH) with Katarzyna Gdaniec. Contemporary dance teacher in Lausanne and at Bachelor’s Contemporary Dance in Zurich, he is member of the CFC expert college (Swiss state exam for dancer), and jury member of the Swiss Federal Dance Prize. Movement teacher for actors since 2004, he founded in 2014 in Alexandria (Egypt) the theatre collective Lies.
