Class description
My contemporary class for professional dancers, offers a mixture between joyful movement, work on detail, and challenging elements, to improve coordination, awareness and floorwork technique. Enough time is calculated to warm up the bodies at the beginning of the class. With well, structured exercises, from the floor to standing up, the energy level increases throughout the class.
Every exercise serves a purpose, and focuses on details that will be repeated in the last and longer combination of the class.

Bio
Stefanie Fischer is an accomplished dance teacher, assistant, and rehearsal director currently based in Basel. She earned her diploma in dance from Tanz Akademie Zürich in 2006, additionally receiving three consecutive years the Migros Tanz Studien Preis during her education. Following her graduation, Stefanie danced at Ballet Kiel in Germany, and later performed as a freelance dancer in various productions around Europe.
In the span of 2015 to 2020, Stefanie was a solo dancer and later additionally a training leader at Tanzkompanie Theater St.Gallen. Following her dance career, Stefanie pursued and successfully completed her Master’s degree at ZHdK, University of Arts Zürich, specializing in teaching and coaching professional dancers in 2022.
From 2022 to 2023, she served as the training and rehearsal director at Theater Münster, shaping the artistic development of aspiring performers. In her role as a guest teacher, Stefanie transmits her expertise regularly, conducting ballet and contemporary classes at Profitraining in St. Gallen, Basel, and Winterthur.

Registration is required only the first time you access Profitraining. For regular classes, you can attend at the scheduled time and location as indicated in the calendar or posted on our social media channels

These classes are meant primarily for professional dancers. Although advanced-level non-profis and students are welcome to join, IGTZ will evaluate and in some cases may refer amateurs to alternative classes.
