Caroline Finn @ Vreni Arbes
We’ll start the workshop with a warm up- finding our centre, loosening the joints, activating the flesh and getting the body and mind energised and available.
I’ll then be giving the participants the opportunity to share some of the methods and tools I use when creating work with dancers. Beginning with a phrase of movement we will then work more specifically with imagery, texture and dynamics; finding ways to adapt and change that phrase, and build up layers of physical creativity. Incorporating our emotional states and playing with how honest we are in the choices we make will amplify and intensify this. It will allow us to start discovering new movement possibilities and ways of connecting more immediately with our audiences.
