Maria was born in 1992 in Italy, where she started with Ballet and Modern-Jazz as a young kid. Later her interest moved to Modern Dance and she started to study Limón Technique. With the age of 18 she moved to Germany to study at the Folkwang University of Art in Essen. During her studies she moved to France to work with Anne Martin at the CNSMD Lyon. During this 6 months of Erasmus she danced in her pieces, like “quatre saisons en movement” and “12° Biennale de Lyon”. In 2016 she graduated at the Folkwang in Bachelor Programm “Modern Dance”. She started working as a freelance dancer and dance teacher in NRW until March 2017, when she started working at the Company Neuer Tanz in Düsseldorf, under the direction of WA Wölfl. She was a fixed member of the company and she participated in many Festivals in Europe and to all the performances at the Marstall Schloss Benrath up to June 2020, when she decided to dedicate herself to her studies. Since August 2020 she is Master student at the Palucca University of Dance in Dresden, with focus on Contemporary teaching for professional dancers. From 2016 until now she used to teach Modern, Contemporary, Improvisation, Ballet for kids, Pilates and Body Tuning.
In January 2021 she moved to Luzern.
