Marta Allocco, born in Conegliano, Italy, in 2000, has been actively engaged in the dance field since her early studies in Italy. At 18, she was selected for an intensive program at AED in collaboration with Codarts and ZHdK universities. A year later, she joined the Swiss university ZHdK, graduating in Contemporary Dance in 2022. During her studies, she interned with the ballet company of Theater Pforzheim, later working with the cultural organization ORNAMENTA, where she choreographed, performed, and modeled. She has since performed with Bühnen Bern as a guest artist and was selected by Tanzhaus Zürich to create a piece for Show Off 2023. Later, she was also contracted by the Opernhaus Zürich. Her recent work, Hard Shell, has been featured in multiple festivals. In 2024, Marta was selected for the residence “Road ToNowhere” 2024-2025.
Since 2024 she is a member of the Del Rio Dance Company in Basel and continues to work as a freelance artist in Switzerland, involved in dance, choreography, assisting, and teaching.
