Profi­training Zentral­schweiz

Registration is required only the first time you access Profitraining. For regular classes, you can attend at the scheduled time and location as indicated in the calendar or posted on our social media channels.

Profitraining & Workshops Zentralschweiz is a project initiated by IG Tanz Zentralschweiz in January 2021 and supported by the Canton of Lucerne, the Albert Koechlin Foundation and the Arthur Waser Foundation.

The format provides 2 weekly professional dance classes with alternating styles and teachers and intensive workshops on specific dates. Classes are listed in the schedule below or on the detailed monthly schedule available under the download section.
These classes are meant primarily for professional dancers. Although advanced-level non-profis and students are welcome to join, IGTZ will evaluate and in some cases may refer amateurs to alternative classes.

Profitraining Zentralschweiz meets TanzLuzern.***
As part of the cooperation between IGTZ and TanzLuzern (Luzerner Theater), professional freelance dancers could attend a weekly company class at TanzLuzern’s studio in Südpol.
After registering (see below), an email requesting the date on which to attend the class must be sent to: profitraining@igtz.ch, no later than 10.00 am on the previous day. Requests should be sent for each lesson participants wish to attend.
A maximum of 3 professional dancers per class will be admitted.

Südpol-dance
Every last Tuesday of the month, “Südpol-dance” offers a programme filled with plenty of exiting dance activities for all dance enthusiasts. Everyone is welcome, dance experience is not necessary!
