Ballet with Nathalie Guth

In her lessons for professional dancers, Nathalie draws on her many years of stage experience. A classically structured training serves as the basis to convey a clean, body-friendly technique. Nathalie creates dynamic lessons in which she places great emphasis on musicality and expression.

Nathalie began her education at ‚Ballettschule für das Opernhaus Zürich‘. Supported by a Migros-Kulturprozent scholarship, she joined the School of the Hamburg Ballet John Neumeier, where she graduated in 2003. As a stage dancer, Nathalie acquired a broad classical and contemporary repertoire. During 10 years with the Stuttgart Ballet and 4 years as a soloist with the Ballet am Rhein in Düsseldorf under the direction of Martin Schläpfer, she danced in choreographies by J. Cranko, G. Balanchine, J. Neumeier, W. Forsythe, H. van Manen, M. Schläpfer, C. Spuck and M. Goecke. In 2017 Nathalie returned to Zurich where she has been passing on her knowledge and passion for dance by teaching at various schools.

Registration is required only the first time you access Profitraining. For regular classes, you can attend at the scheduled time and location as indicated in the calendar or posted on our social media channels

These classes are meant primarily for professional dancers. Although advanced-level non-profis and students are welcome to join, IGTZ will evaluate and in some cases may refer amateurs to alternative classes.
