Workshop for professional dancers

The workshop will begin with a 30-minute warm-up session, followed by learning a specific extract from a repertoire. Once we have grasped the material, we will explore various ways to enhance it by implementing tasks that allow for transformation while preserving the core message of the primary idea.
At the end of the workshop, the work done will be shared with the audience.

About Luca Signoretti
Born in Pesaro (I), Luca Signoretti began his training in 2003 at the Hangart Dance School, Pesaro, before becoming a member of the Ballet Junior de Genève, Switzerland and moving on as a soloist with the Tanz Luzerner Theater, Switzerland from 2009-2014, before turning his focus full time to choreography.
Finalist of the 2013, ’27th International Choreographic Competition, Hannover, Germany. Winner of the 2016 “Pretty Creatives” price for the North West Dance Project competition, Oregon, USA. Awarded second place and the “Production Prize” at the 11th Copenhagen Choreographic Competition. Semi finalist at the 2019 RIDCC Rotterdam International duets choreography competition. Luca Signoretti Dance Company performed: 12th annual Gala Copenhagen International Choreographic Competition.
17th International Aids Gala in Regensburg, International Contemporary Dance Festival of Mexico City, the FIDCDMX in 2019 and 2020. His first short dance film was recently nominated for the 2020 Students Academy Awards, Hollywood, US, and Won the “Grand Prix” of ISCA international Film Competition, Japan.
2021 join the new dance company “Cie la Ronde” directed by Ihsan Rustem & Cathy Marston which will tour STEPS festival 2022.
2022 tour Tanzfactor organized by Reso has chosen one of Luca’s latest research work.
As a free lance choreographer as been commission work for Luzerner Tanz Theater and Regensburg Tanz Theater.
As of June, 2020, Luca received his Masters in Choreography at the Zürcher Hochschule der Künste.
Luca is the Artistic Director of the new platform „Choreographers in Residency”.

The workshop, as part of the IGTZ-Profitraining & Workshops Zentralschweiz, is organised in the frame of “PLATZ DA! Festival of the Local Dance and Theater Scene” in Luzern (CH). From September 20th to 23rd, 2023, a festival of the local dance and theater scene will take place as a co-production of t. Zentralschweiz, IGTZ, and the Darstellende Künste Pavillon.
Every day, you can expect a mix of various performances from the region, networking events, and workshops.
