In my class I will share how the oriental training background in my past such as Chinese opera, TaiChi and Taiwanese Zhentou(陣頭) influence my body, and how I apply the principles of those styles/methods into body and to move in the relation with the ground.

Born in Taiwan, based now in Zürich since 2016. Kuan-Ling started dancing at the young age of 4, she received her BFA in dance at Taipei University of the Arts before her professional life as a performer, creator, choreographic accompany and art model. Since 2005 she has been living and working in Taiwan, Switzerland and New York with projects in the fields of dance, theater performance, film, festival, photography and fine art. Since 2008 Kuan-Ling began her work relationship with Switzerland which include Tanzkompanie Theater St. Gallen(2008-9), Schauspielhaus Zürich(2016-17), Cie ZeitSprung(2015-21), Zurich Opernhaus(2011), Freie Oper Zürich(2018), Zürich Moves(2018), Zürich Tanz(2018), Antigel Festival(2011), and Philipp Egli(2008- 21), Salome Schneebeli(2018-19), Gertrud Pinkus(2019-21), Irina Lorez(2020-21), Bettina Zumstein(2020), Anna Heinimann(2016-20), I-Fen Lin(2021), Stefanie Inhelder (2021).
