Class description
Phoebe’s class is dedicated to the exploration of improvisation through the exploration of dynamics, spatial awareness, and movement origin. Her teaching is centered on cultivating a connection between movement and the body’s own musicality, fostering a continuous flow through variations in rhythm, perspective and imagery. Her class will lead you through different stages of improvisation, from the floor, to standing, to contact improvisation, with an aim to blur the boundaries between them.
Through developing a heightened sensitivity to the expansive tool-set at our fingertips, Phoebe aims to challenge us all to break free from physical habits and routine.
