For these sessions we will be working on Addictive Dancing and touch ideas around the OMG Dramaturgy method. Addictive Dancing is a term I use for a physical practice entailing soothing, vibrating, resonating movements that are rhythmical, repeating, looping and that over time when practiced becomes extremely addictive.
Addictive dancing builds on undulation, waving, swaying, rocking, grinding, stepping and jumping patterns that will work as a starting point and score from where OMG moments appear and we can build compositions and develop small performative situations and constellations together.

Sigrid Stigsdatter is a choreographer, performer and vocalist based between Copenhagen and Amsterdam. She completed her BA at SNDO in 2017 and is currently pursuing her MA in Choreography at The Danish National School of Performing Arts.
Through body and voice her practice interrogates the addictive, the emotional, the intuitive, and the wild. She explores how the resonance created between performer and audience can leave us forever changed. Saying yes and yes and yes and and and instead of or or or she creates work that insist on the multiple, the layers, the complicated, the punk and magic.
In addition to her own projects, Sigrid works with various other artists as a performer and advisor. She is member of Jacuzzi in Ams and Dance Cooperative in Cph, two artist-run spaces who’s involvement in community and politics around the dance scene continues to drive and influence her artistic function.
